The bullring was opened on 19 March 2005. The bullfighters were Espartaco, Rivera Ordóñez and Morante de la Puebla and the bulls were the Zalduendo herd.

The project was designed by the architect Carmen Gil Calderón.

This multipurpose venue has a 5,000-seat capacity. The bullring has a diameter of 45 metres. It has an infirmary, eight “chiqueros” (holding pens), a horse yard, an abattoir and other facilities. There is a disabled access entrance and a lift to the president’s box. The seats are 50 cm wide. The commercial premises occupy one thousand square metres. Its construction cost 1,382,327 euros.
