This building, owned by the Archdiocese of Seville, is an excellent example of civil baroque architecture in Lebrija. It was built in 1791 and consists of two areas: the rectory and the granary. The former, towards Tetuán Street, is the residential area, with a façade that has a unique undulating cornice. The canons’ rooms were located on the lower level, around the courtyard, while the grain was stored on the upper level.

Its Mannerist stone façade is frugal. The wide lintelled door is flanked with robust Doric columns with fluted shafts topped by two straight pediments. The first and largest is broken to make way for the central balcony.

La Cilla, with its façade facing the Plaza del Mantillo, is distributed around a central courtyard in which oil mill’s counterweight tower is still preserved. These two functional spaces are connected by the so-called “Sala de Bóvedas” (Vault Room), initially livestock stables.
