The Sanlúcar la Mayor Fair, declared a festival of Tourist Interest in Andalusia, is held every year two weeks after the Seville Fair, from Wednesday to Sunday, so it does not have fixed dates.

It is a fair made up of stalls, the origin of the big Seville fair. It started out as a cattle fair, which was later transformed into a recreational fair by Fernando VII. It is currently held in La Corredera.

Organised by the Town Council, it is one of the most deeply rooted and traditional fairs in the province of Seville. Dance, music, folklore, colourful booths, exquisite cuisine, a sevillanas dance contest and good wine... for a very special fair in the most authentic Andalusian style. It starts with the night of the pescaíto (fried whitebait) and the agenda of shows guarantees fun for young and old alike.
