A festival born at the same time as the Peña El Rincón del Pilar.

The first festival dates back to 1980. Flamenco has always generated intense passion in the Sevillian town of El Viso del Alcor, as it also has throughout the Sevillian countryside, including towns such as Utrera, Morón de la Frontera or Marchena. It has a large fan base and numerous artists participate in countless flamenco shows at the regional, national and international levels.

The festival has become a driving force for tourism, a cultural attraction and a generator of wealth for the municipality. It is currently considered the most significant flamenco and cultural event of the year.
