This recreational area very close to the town of Aznalcázar allows visitors to unwind and enjoy fresh air amidst abundant vegetation and the nearby river. It has barbecue facilities and more than a dozen picnic tables and benches, some with access for people with disabilities.

It also has a large car park for your vehicle. There is also parking for disabled people in a nearby area.

La Rinconada is an eminently agricultural town; therefore, it barely has space for natural vegetation. This increases the relevance of the riparian areas of the River Guadalquivir as it passes through this town, since some sections of the river are of high landscape and ecological value, with abundant riparian vegetation and associated fauna.

The River Guadiamar rises at El Castillo de las Guardas and an affluent on the right bank of the River in the Doñana marshland.

The geographical location of the El Gergal Peri-urban Park, located between the lower foothills of the Sierra Morena and the right bank of the Guadalquivir River, has led to the confluence of various interesting natural and cultural attractions in the area, along with a wide range of recreational and leisure activities.

This is a park with free access and 54,000 square metres of natural space for outdoor recreation and leisure. It is located south of Torre de la Reina and has two different areas.

Most of the municipal district is given over to agriculture. Therefore, natural vegetation is limited to what remains of the original riparian forest along the banks of the River Guadalquivir. The river forms a bend in the northeast area of the district, where the space known as “La Playita” can be found.

The Chaparro de La Vega is a massive holm oak tree located in the area of La Vega, 3 kilometres from Coripe. It is more than 300 years old, 13 metres high with a 23-metre diameter crown. Given these exceptional characteristics, the Regional Government of Andalusia has declared the tree a Natural Monument.
