The Casa de la Cultura is housed in the former Jesuit convent. It leverages the ample space available in the convent complex with its large central cloister and rooms around it.

Plaza de Abastos

The Plaza de Abastos, formerly the San Francisco Convent, is located at Osuna’s Plaza Mayor, a few metres from the Casa de la Cultura and Santa Catalina Convent.

Encarnación Monastery

Much of the cloister of the Monastery of the Incarnation has been converted into a Museum of Sacred Art, which is structured around the main cloister. The Museum consists of 4 rooms that house a significant collection of the Child Jesus, goldwork and notable sculptures.

Purísima Concepción Convent

The monastery was founded in 1631 by Rodrigo Ponce de León, 4th Duke of Arcos. For seven years, the Convent was relocated in various outbuildings until the Lords of Marchena decided to place within the ducal estate.

Chapel of the Milagrosa

It was initially built in the 16th century as a Shrine to Our Lady of Grace. It was home to the Augustinian Order until they moved to the current Convent of San Agustín circa 1616. From 1670 to 1780, it was an all-girls school run by the Beatas Educandas de Santa Isabel.

Concepción Convent

Founded in the early 16th century, this convent has housed a community of Franciscan Conceptionist nuns for centuries. It covers an area of 4,000 square meters, which includes a church and the convent itself.

Plaza de Andalucía

This area was renovated in the 1980s. It was transformed into a public square under the design and direction of Francisco Moreno Galván. It consists of a collonaded courtyard reminiscent of the cloister arcades of a convent. There is a modest fountain in the centre, and a cypress in a corner, reminiscent of the one about which Gerardo Diego wrote and sang.
