The Troya Tower is located atop a hill east of El Palmar de Troya. It has unobstructed views of Palmar de Troya to the west; Salado Stream and the hill on which Ventosilla Tower is situated to the north, and the Águila Tower to the east.

Located at the highest point of Carmona, west of the walled compound, this fortified palace was likely built in the Muslim period, specifically in the 12th century; however, there is no archaeological evidence to substantiate it.

The River Guadaíra, on its course through Alcalá, gives rise to many riverside parks, in total around 120 hectares of green areas. These zones were declared a Natural Monument by the Governing Board of the Andalusian Regional Government on the 30th December 2011, in acknowledgment of its natural and eco-cultural values.

Given its privileged location, overlooking the vast territories of the North that shape the La Campiña, there is evidence of human settlements since very early times. The Castle started as an Ibero-Turdetan defensive bastion in the 5th century BC. When the Carthaginians arrived 200 years later, it became a watchtower.

The Andalusia Line’s telegraph tower-fortress for the Puertollano-Cádiz section was built between 1850 and 1853 and remained in use until 1857. The tower, built as a fortress, was guarded by paramilitary troops with rifles. When it was abandoned, the Guardia Civil guarded the building to avoid its use as a fortress by criminals or rebels.

The Osuna’s Collegiate Church is a jewel of Renaissance architecture. Founded by Juan Téllez Girón, 4th Count of Ureña, it replaced the old medieval parish church. It is unclear who the architects were.

The Parish Church of Our Lady of Virtues is a clear example of the historical path of La Puebla de Cazalla. The Church dates back to the 16th century, when Juan Téllez de Girón, Duke of Osuna, ordered its construction under her advocacy. Both the fortress and the Castle were part of the estate of the Ducal House of Osuna. Consequently, the Duke decided that the town should be repopulated.
