This is a new stage in Seville dedicated exclusively to singing, dancing and guitar playing in the heart of the Triana district, the historical cradle of flamenco, on the banks of the River Guadalquivir. A unique theatre, a flamenco theatre.
Inspired by the Seville of the 1929 Ibero-American Exhibition, being a state-of-the-art technical facility, Teatro Flamenco Triana offers a continuous programme of shows by renowned figures of today's flamenco.
The programme of performances of the Triana Flamenco Theatre is both a vindication of the mastery of established artists from different generations, and the gateway to the stage for new talent emerging from the flamenco school of the Cristina Heeren Foundation, creator of this stage.
Its flamenco school, with more than twenty years of history, is considered the best study centre in the world in its speciality according to Lonely Planet, recognised by the Ministry of Culture, the Andalusian Government and the Chair of Flamenco Studies in Jerez.
The capacity of the theatre is 100 people.
