Centrally located, next to the Altozano Square, this long plaza has a triangular shape. Several major streets –Fuente Vieja or Sevilla- converge on this square.

Given its prime location within the urban core, this is a space with heavy foot traffic in which different bars and restaurants operate. The square is bordered by numerous buildings, mainly three-stories high, with a relatively uniform, traditional appearance.

Orange trees are carefully aligned along its extensive perimeter. In the centre stands a monument to the local flamenco artist Enrique Montoya.
