Plaza de España is a square lined by the most emblematic buildings of Gines.
The Town Hall and Hacienda Torregines stand on the left side, where Calle Real meets the square. On the opposite side is the Nuestra Señora de Belén Church and Hacienda de Santa Rosalía.
This cluster of significant buildings, as well as its location within the historic centre of Gines, has made this square a constant feature in the town’s history. The Town Council has adopted this idea and has recently pedestrianised the square and the Calle Real.
