Tower of the Perdigones

In Seville's San Gil district, next to the Barqueta bridge, the main access to Expo'92, the Tower of the Perdigones - Camera Obscura is one of the town's main industrial monuments. The tower was part of the old San Francisco de Paula factory, popularly known as the Perdigones (pellet) factory.

Tower of Silver

The Tower of Silver, with an octagonal floor plan, was built in the 13th century by the Almohads and was part of the walls that surrounded the town. It was the end of the walled enclosure and was annexed by a wall to the Tower of Gold.

Tower of Abd el Aziz 

The Tower of Abd el Aziz goes unnoticed by the passer-by on Avenida de la Constitución as it has been absorbed into the urban planning of the centre of Seville. It is a piece of the historic Almohad wall of Seville that stands in the heart of the town.

In the northern part of Seville's Historical Centre, between the river and the old La Feria lagoon, the former cloistered convent of the Poor Clares was located.

Arab Fortress of Alhonoz

The fortress is located between the municipalities of Ecija and Herrera. Its dominant position with respect to the surrounding territory led to the existence of a major urban settlement in its surroundings during the Moorish period that survived until the reconquest.

Torre de Almazara

Five 18th-century counterweight towers used in beam mills to produce olive oil and ancillary buildings. The most beautiful tower is located next to an old rest area on the road that crosses the town. It is today a landscaped area. This architectural element sits inside a building with a curved tile, gabled roof situated in the former Cruz de los Caídos garden.

Ruins of the Medieval Castle

In the past, a medieval castle stood at the confluence of the River Siete Arroyos and the former riverbed of the River Guadalquivir (known as Cañada de la Molineta). All that remains today are two walls, one with a horseshoe arch.
