This town’s bread is a delight thanks to this bakery. They have elevated the well-kneaded dough made with flour, water, yeast and salt into an art form.

Vínicola del Aljarafe, S.L. has its origins in one of the most distinctive wineries in the town, Bodegas Ventura, belonging to the Castro family. In 1996 it moved to the old Bodega Sierra, where it remains today.

The company specialises in oil production. Its name, macaco, refers to the basket that is hung around the neck and into which the olives fall from the tree when the branches are 'milked' by hand.

This family business, specialising in the artisan production of breadsticks, was founded in 1968 by Francisco Castilla Gordillo, the pioneer in breadsticks in this area. This tradition is now passed down from generation to generation.
