Cycle touring route: Almadén de la Plata / Cazalla de la Sierra

We leave Almadén de la Plata on the A5301 road to Real de la Jara. After 11km we will find a turn-off to the right towards Cazalla de la Sierra, on the SE179 road. After 9.5 km we will crown the Puerto Padrona- Puerto Quejigo and 17 km later we will arrive at the village of El Pintado, from where there will be 15 km left to finish the stage until we reach Cazalla de la Sierra.

This remarkable municipal museum is the only one of its kind in its speciality in Andalusia. It exhibits a varied and valuable collection of instruments, tools and materials used since ancient times in medicine and surgery.

Centro Interpretación y Observatorio de Zaframagón
Zaframagón Interpretation Centre and Ornithological Observatory

The Zaframagón Interpretation Centre and Ornithological Observatory are located in the former Zaframagón train station. The Centre boasts a Video Surveillance Monitoring System of griffon vulture nesting site. A 360°-rotation, high-sensitivity, digital camera provides real-time images of the griffon vultures flying, feeding their chicks and nesting.

Laguna del Gosque

The Laguna del Gosque is an endorheic and seasonal wetland. It is located on flat terrain, in an area of undulating relief and gentle hills, near the Sierra de los Caballos, in the south of the province of Seville.
