Church of San Ignacio de Loyola

Better known as La Compañía, because it was built by the friars of La Compañía de Jesús in the 17th century, in 1627 to be precise.

The most remarkable feature of this single-nave baroque church is its façade with the coat of arms of Castilla y León and the image of the Sagrado Corazón de Jesús.

The chapel is a stone, brick and masonry building dating from approximately 1734, which was extensively restored at a later date.

Chapel of La Safa

The Chapel of La Safa was built in 1983. It is a single-nave building with a half-barrel vault held up by ribbed arches supported by pilasters. The altarpiece, the arms of lateral lamps, the stained-glass windows and the half-height tiling of the old Seville factory of Ramos Rejano are currently preserved.

Church of Santa Isabel Convent

This Renaissance temple (1556-1588) has Gothic-Mudejar elements. It belonged to the former Encarnación School founded by Luis Cristobal Ponce de León (second Duke of Arcos) and his wife María de Toledo and run by the Jesuit fathers. Only Church and a beautiful cloister remain from the original building.

Santa Ana Parish Church

This is a baroque style church built in two stages: in the 17th century, the sanctuary and the transept, and in the 18th century the three naves. It has an altarpiece with 18th century canvases and images, including the images of Jesus the Nazarene, Nuestra Señora de la Esperanza, Nuestra Señora de la Mediación, the Reclining Christ and María Santísima de los Dolores Coronada.

Chapel of the Convent of the Siervas del Evangelio

In the convent of the Siervas del Evangelio there is a chapel with a small but valuable altarpiece consisting of four paintings on the sides dated around 1600 and a central canvas representing the Calvary, which, together with the front of the altar, date from the 18th century.

This convent was founded around 1612 by a former resident of the town settled in Potosi (America), who donated 80,000 silver pesos for its construction.
