The Shrine to Our Lady of Solitude is located in the north edge of the town towards El Pedroso. There used to be on this same place another Shrine to San Sebastian, where Our Lady of Solitude was venerated as early as the sixteenth century., The compound was ultimately given her name owing to the great devotion of the people.

The Convent, located on the Cerro de San Cristóbal, was founded by the second Marquis of Estepa, Juan Bautista Centurión, just four years after the foundation of the Santa Clara Convent.

Originally a 15th-century Gothic building, the appearance was significantly altered in the 17th and 18th centuries to become a baroque-neoclassical Church. The central nave is covered with a barrel vault with lunettes, the side naves with a groin vault and the presbytery by a dome on pendentives.

This is an early 15th century Gothic-Mudejar church with a rectangular floor plan and a polygonal apse reinforced by buttresses.

It has three naves separated by pointed arches supported by columns, the body of the church having a gabled wooden roof over the central nave and a single pitch on the sides, while the sanctuary has a ribbed Gothic vault.

The Santiago el Mayor Church is an interesting Mudejar-style building. The neo-Gothic and neoclassical altarpieces with 18th and 19th-century images and the 16th and 17th-century goldwork are remarkable.

This is one of the most interesting architectural remains in Gerena. It dates back to the Roman period from which the first chamber (old fountain) and thermal baths originate. The overflow of this first fountain probably served as a drinking trough.

The chapel belongs to the Confraternity of the Holy Christ of the True Cross, Our Lady of the Incarnation and Saint Mary Magdalene. Despite being a modern building, it is home to a neoclassical altarpiece with the images of the Holy Christ of the True Cross (17th century) and Our Lady of the Incarnation (18th century).
