Church of San Julián 

It belongs to the group of Gothic-Mudejar churches in Seville. It is a church with a rectangular floor plan, divided into three naves with four sections. The chevet is polygonal with a straight section and is separated from the body of the church by a triumphal arch, also in the Gothic or ogival style.

It is located next to the remains of the walls of Seville and the gate of La Macarena, one of the gateways to it.

Its foundation dates from the second half of the 13th century, almost immediately after the town was reconquered by Ferdinand III the Saint, being one of the churches known as Alfonsinas, built during the reign of Alfonso X the Wise.

Like other parishes in Seville, its origin dates back to the Reconquest of the town. It is located on the same site as a Roman temple, on which a Visigothic church and later a mosque were built. It is a Gothic-Mudejar type of church, although it was modified during the 17th and 18th centuries.

In Seville, a medieval church was built on top of a former caliphal mosque (formerly a Roman basilica), which today still has its courtyard with orange trees (Patio de los Naranjos).

In Seville, Alfonso X decided to build the Royal Shipyards in 1252, in order to construct galleys outside the walled enclosure and very close to the River Guadalquivir, in the area between the Gold Tower, the Silver Tower, and the Coal Gate and Oil Gate.

San Benito Church

The building dates from the late 16th and early 17th centuries. It is currently privately owned and is being restored to be used as an apartment building. Of Gothic-Mudejar origin, it has a single nave, divided into four sections by pointed transverse arches, the apse being made up of two sections, a rectangular one roofed with a coffered vault and a semicircular one with a ribbed vault.

Shrine to San Sebastian

Built in the 15th century, the state of conservation of its Gothic-Mudejar structure is notable. Although some changes made in the 1990s have altered its appearance, one can still see in the apse a polygonal, star-shaped, Gothic ribbed vault with tiercerons. The Shrine was initially located on the outskirts next to a road to Seville.
